Terms
Terms for using Nokta.
These terms are between you and Niello Labs LLC (“we”), the maker of Nokta. They cover this website and participation in the private beta. App Store distribution is also subject to Apple's terms.
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about Nokta, contact support, and request beta access. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
App license
Nokta is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is presented with the app, use of an App Store or TestFlight build is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable Apple Media Services terms.
Private beta
Beta access is limited and may be accepted, declined, suspended, or ended at any time. Beta software may contain defects, lose data, change substantially, or stop working. Create and export backups of important information. Do not rely on a beta build for emergencies, safety-critical work, medical decisions, or any situation where data loss or a missed reminder could cause harm.
Your content and backups
You retain responsibility for the content you enter and the backups you create. You are responsible for keeping copies you need and for choosing safe locations when exporting files. Nokta does not maintain a server copy that support can restore for you.
Purchases
If Nokta+ purchases are offered, prices and billing periods are shown before purchase and payment is handled through Apple. Purchase management, cancellation, refunds, and restoration are subject to Apple's policies and the options available in your Apple account.
Feedback
You may choose to send feedback, bug reports, or suggestions. You give us permission to use that feedback to evaluate and improve Nokta without an obligation to compensate you. Do not include confidential information you do not want considered in that way.
Intellectual property
Nokta, its visual identity, website, app, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where applicable law or an open-source license expressly permits it.
Availability and warranties
The website and beta are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Features, platform plans, prices, and availability may change. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nokta's provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from use of the website or beta. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated as Nokta moves from beta to public release or adds services. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they apply.
