Privacy policy
Your workspace is yours.
Nokta is made by Niello Labs LLC (“we”). Nokta is designed around on-device storage. This policy explains the limited information that may leave your device when you make a purchase, visit this website, or contact us.
Summary
The short version.
- Your projects, tasks, habits, notes, history, and backups are stored on your device unless you choose to export a backup.
- Nokta does not require an account and does not operate a sync server for your workspace.
- Nokta does not include advertising or behavioral analytics.
- Apple and RevenueCat process limited purchase and entitlement information when purchase services are enabled.
- We receive the information you choose to send when you email support or request beta access.
Information stored by the app
Nokta stores the workspace you create—including projects, tasks, habits, notes, work sessions, settings, reminders, and local backups—on your device. Nokta does not transmit that workspace to a Nokta account or Nokta sync server.
You can export a portable backup to a location or service you choose. Once exported, that copy is handled by the destination you selected and its privacy practices.
Purchases and membership
Purchases are processed by Apple. Nokta uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage Nokta+ access when purchase services are enabled. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, device and operating-system information, purchase receipts, product and transaction information, and the last time the app contacted its service. Nokta does not send your workspace content to RevenueCat.

Notifications
If you enable reminders, Nokta requests notification permission and schedules notifications on your device. The content and schedule of those reminders are not sent to a Nokta server.
Website visits
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and security events to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or marketing cookies to this website. The light/dark preference is stored locally in your browser.

Email, support, and beta requests
When you contact support@getnokta.app or beta@getnokta.app, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, provide beta access, investigate a report, or follow up about testing. Do not send sensitive notes or a full Nokta backup unless support specifically asks and you decide to do so.
We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for support, beta administration, security, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete ordinary correspondence, subject to records we must keep.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate purchases, email, website hosting, and support; when you direct us to; or when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.
Children
Nokta is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal information, email us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Your choices
You control the workspace stored by Nokta and can export or delete it from your device. Removing the app also removes its local app data, subject to device backups managed by Apple. For questions about email records or purchase-related identifiers, contact us at privacy@getnokta.app.
Changes to this policy
If Nokta adds sync, accounts, analytics, or another practice that changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that change applies. The effective date above identifies the current version.
