For iPhone

Your projects, tasks and habits, mapped out.

Nokta is an iPhone app for keeping track of what you have to do. Add a task in one line and put it in a project if it belongs to one. See everything laid out as a map, as a list, or a day at a time. No account. Everything stays on your phone.

Free. Nokta+ adds more room, from $1.99 a month.

The Map in the middle: Work, Home and the Inbox, each project a ring and each task a dot. The same work as a day on the left, and as a list on the right.

Adding a task

One line. Nothing else asked.

Type what you have to do and press return. It goes into the Inbox. Leave it there, give it a day, or move it into a project when you get to it.

Projects

A project holds its tasks, its notes, and smaller projects inside it.

Open a project and everything about it is on one page. Add a task from the field at the bottom. Big projects can have subprojects, one level deep.

Your day

One day at a time, morning to bedtime.

Give a task a day, and a time if it needs one. The Agenda shows only that day: what is planned, what is running, and what got done. The day has its own note too.

Habits

Things you do again and again, kept in one place.

A habit is one item you check off on its days. It keeps its own record, so you can see the last few weeks at a glance without it turning into a pile of tasks.

The Outline

The same work as a plain list.

If you would rather not look at a map, the Outline shows everything as a nested list: Spaces, projects, tasks. It works as an ordinary to-do list, and anything you change here changes on the Map too.

Price

Free to use, with Nokta+ if you need more room.

The free app has everything, with a few limits on how much you can add. Nokta+ removes those limits. Nothing you have already made is ever taken away.

Questions

Common questions.

Can I use it as a plain to-do list?

Yes. Keep everything in the Inbox, tick things off, and never open the Map. The Outline shows the same list top to bottom.

Is the Map part of Nokta+?

No. The Map, the Outline, the Agenda and Habits are all free. Nokta+ removes the limits on projects, habits, Spaces and reminders, and opens your whole History.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your workspace is a file on your phone, and you can back it up and export it yourself.

Is there a Mac or Android version?

Not yet. Nokta 1.0 is for iPhone.
